EMI Group will make some of its music available free on the Internet under an agreement with the Qtrax music service. Users will be able to listen to songs free for a set number of times in a service that will be paid for by advertising, EMI, which is based in London, said. EMI and Qtrax will also give users the option to pay to keep the songs or to buy a monthly subscription.
