Changes to grants could hit bureaux.

Citizens Advice Bureaux in Suffolk could see a big change in funding under plans for a shake-up of the way the county council allocates money.

Staff at Bury St Edmunds Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB), which would lose out as a result of the changes, have reacted with dismay to the plans.

Suffolk County Council's cabinet is to meet on Tuesday to discuss proposals to link the amount of funding it gives to population size, in a move that would see some CABs receiving extra money but would also mean a reduction in funding for others.
